This is a series documenting my experience visiting Auschwitz Birkenhau with my Father as part of a symbolic ‘pilgrimidge’ that we made together after my 21st birthday.
The series is a mixture of colour and black & white film photography; I switched to Black & White just before entering Auschwitz II as I felt as a photographer this was a way of being respectful as I do not wish for this series to come across as in anyway glamourising Auschwitz, it is merely a documentation of my experience.
